2014 2014 Emerald Isle Triathlon:
• This is a sprint race and includes a 750 meter swim in the Atlantic Ocean, followed by a 19.3k out and back bike along highway 58 and will conclude with a 5k out and back run along Ocean Drive. The race transition area for all phases is the Eastern Regional Ocean Access (2701 Emerald Drive). There is only one team category; teams must have 3 members, one for each leg of the race. maps please visit www.emeraldisle-nc.org for course maps. Packet pick up will be held Friday, October 19 from 4-7pm at the Emerald Isle Community Center (7500 Emerald Drive); and at the race site on race day from 6-7am. There will be awards for the top three male and top three female finishers, plus the top three finishers in each age division; 16-U, 17-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65 and over). Race will be chip timed by Run the East Event Timing & Management.
