In 2010, O'Connell's Run was started in honor of Emmett OConnell, a pediatric Cystic Fibrosis (CF) patient who is treated at St. Josephs Childrens Hospital in Paterson, NJ. Now in its forth year, we are proud to stand with so many other CF children & their families who also receive treatment at The Cystic Fibrosis Center at St. Josephs Childrens Hospital. All race proceeds go to the hospital.
Starting line is an EASY walk from Hoboken. Take 9th Street Light Rail elevator up to Congress Street. Head west on Congress to Palisade. Take right on Palisade and walk few short blocks to 2nd. Very easy to get to from Jersey City (start borders Jersey City Heights) and Weehawken Heights too. Street parking available

The starting line for OConnells Run is located on Palisade Avenue, between Paterson Plank & 2nd Street
This is a fast & easy course; with a slight incline at the beginning, and a downhill finish.
