2014 Anderson Area YMCA Sprint Triathlon:

The race is USAT Sanctioned, and will follow USAT rules. Helmets are mandatory and drafting is prohibited! This is a fun, grass roots triathlon, perfect for seasoned athletes to kick off the season and for first timers to get a race under their belt!

Course Information:

The race begins with a 300 yard pool swim with athletes leaving on a 10 second interval.

The bike course is flat and super-fast, an out-and-back route along a four lane highway.

The run course is rolling with a couple of challenging hills. - - -

Directions:

Take exit 27 off I-85, turn south towards Anderson.

Turn left at Reed Road, approximately 7 miles from the Interstate.

The Y is across from AnMed Hospitol.

The address is 201 East Reed Road, Anderson SC 29621.

There will be plenty of parking at the Y on race morning.
