Open Water Swimming/Stand Up Paddleboard
There will be 2 races throughout the weekend in order to qualify into the Get Stoked Triathlon (Swim, Paddle and Skate). The One Mile will be one lap around the course drawn on the map and the 5K will be 3 laps. The races will consist of an in water start and an out of water finish. The World Open Water Swim Association (WOWSA) will enforce the rules of the event.
Swimmers will follow the outside loop with buoys always on left shoulder into the middle of Henry Hagg Lake and exit through the finish line shoot. One mile swimmers will perform one lap and enter the finish line and 5K swimmers will complete 3 laps prior to entering the finish line chute.
Stand up paddleboarders will follow the same course and their two events will be a 5k and a 10k. The 5k will be 3 laps and the 10k will be 6 laps.
The beginner race will go along the same course as the one-mile course and turn at .125 miles out for a quarter-mile race.
Long Distance Skating
The long race will be a 10.3 mile race that runs around Henry Hagg Lake on the Henry Hagg Lake Trail Loop and will be one lap long.
