SMH Run for Wellness 5K

Where: Across from the Ripley Medical Building, 193 Main St. Norway, Maine

When: Sunday, June 1, 2014 at 9:00 AM

Pre-registration: $15

Race Day Registration: $20 per person from 7:30 AM to 8:55 AM

**If you are under 18 years old on the day of the race you will need a parental signature due to road race insurance requirements.

Amenities: T-shirt for those who register by May 2nd.

Join us on Sunday, June 1, 2014 for our third annual 5K road race through downtown Norway, Maine. Employees of Stephens Memorial Hospital (please see Sharon Buffington to sign up), family, and community members are encouraged to participate! If you are an experienced competitor or interested in participating in your first race, we invite you to walk or run with us in the SMH Run for Wellness 5K.

There will be a free Fun Run for children under thirteen years of age. Registration will be that morning between 7:30 AM and the start of the Fun Run race at 8:15 AM. All children who participate will receive a medal.

Top prize for both top male and female runners as well as award recognition to the top three male/female runners in each age group category.

I understand that running or walking is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter and participate unless I am medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of any race official relative to my ability to safely complete the event. I assume all risks associated with participating in this event including but not limited to: falls, contact with other participants, effects of weather, including high/humidity, traffic and the conditions of the road and all risks are known and appreciated by me. Additionally I understand and grant permission to SMH 5K event organizers to use photographs, videos or other records of this event for the purpose of future publicity.
