Where will the race be held? On the shoulder of MD 26 from SCHS to MD 27 finishing at Taylorsville UMC. The MD State Police will assist us in crossing the intersections.
Do I have to run? No, you can walk or run.
Are there prizes? Yes,
- Top two finishers, male & female (Trophies)
- Medals to top three age-group finishers, male & female,
8th grade and under, 9thgrade, 10th grade, 11th grade, 12th grade, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
What if it rains? We will still have the event, at the finish line the food and band will be playing indoors.
Where can I park? Please park at South Carroll High School, we will have a shuttle bus to take you from TUMC back to the church.
Will there be food at the end? We will have water and pulled pork sandwiches for everyone in the event. Your bracelet, that you receive in your entry packet, will get you your sandwhich.
Can I bring my dog? Sorry, not this time. No dogs or babystrollers. But, bring your dogs back for our blessing of the animals in the fall!
What are the t-shirts made of? They will be of cotton with our Run To The Cross logo on it.
What time are awards? 11:15 am.
What does this race benefit? Both the SCHS FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) and the No More Malaria campaign to stop malaria in Africa. 100 percent of your race entry fee goes towards these two non-profits.
