Enjoy the majestic sights and sounds of Reading Pennsylvania while swimming in Blue Marsh Lake. Based on triathlon swim distances, the Reading Open Water Swim provides swimmers of all ages and skill levels with three distances to challenge your endurance, .6 mile sprint, 1.2 mile Half and 2.4 mile Ironman swim (this is a swim only race, bike and run course not included). Dont miss out; this is your opportunity to swim like an Ironman

Notes: Early packet pick up will be held Sept. 12th from noon to 8pm at T1 Swim Shop, 703 Penn Ave. West Reading, PA 19611. You may also pick up your packet on race morning starting at 7am at the check in tent. This is also where you will be body marked. Warm up swimming is restricted to the beach swim area only. You may warm up at any time, but we ask you stay within the lined buoys. The race will begin promptly at 9am in waves of 25. We will have lots of kayaks and lifeguards on the lake for your safety; however it is each athlete's responsibility to know and understand the course. All athletes racing age will be determined by their age as of December 31, 2014.

Bring the family... Each registration includes a day pass to the beach area, including public restrooms, changing area, outdoor shower, concessions and picnic tables. So stay and relax, let the kids enjoy the sand while you recover... (Day pass must be displayed on vehicle windshield)
