Starting on the beach of Easter Lake Park, the Iowa Games Triathlon is a sprint triathlon consisting of a 1/4 mile, open water swim, 15 mile bike ride, and 5K run. This is an open course event, meaning that participants must share the road with traffic. For safety, helmets must be worn during the cycling portion of the competition.
This is not a sanctioned race, but Triathlon Federation USA Rules will be followed with the right to make exceptions.
