The Gillie Girl Sprint Triathlon is an event for women only. The proceeds of this race go to support breast cancer research thru the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund.
This is a great event for all women, first time racers, seasoned triathletes and relay team.
Course Information:
The course includes a 1/2 miles swim in the natural spring fed Gillie Lake. The swim is made up of 2 - 1/4 mile loops with a beach re-entry, making the swim fast and non-intimidating for the first time triathlete. The bike course is an undulating 15 mile out and back bike route and is followed by an incredibly scenic and spectator-friendly 5k run.
Directions:
The Gillie Girl Sprint Triathlon is located at Gillie Lake in the Veteran's Memorial Park in Camillus, NY. It's location is 1 mile off of Route 5 near West Hill Golf Course on Ike Dixon Road between Sands Road and Gillie Brook Roads.
