2014 CHC Meriden Race for Mental Health:
Come run the 2nd annual CHC Meriden Race for Mental Health! This year's race will feature a kids fun run, health walk, 5k and 10k. All races take place at Hubbard Park in Meriden and are on routes that will be closed to auto traffic. The 10k will run up to Castle Craig and back, so be prepared for a challenging course with spectacular views! All proceeds will go to the United Way to mental healthcare.
Registration is $20 for the 5k and health walk, and $40 for the 10k now until April 18th; after that date the rates increase to $25 and $45. All races registered before 4/18/14 will receive a technical race shirt (cotton for those who register after that date). Register at this link: http://
There will be on-site, race day registration available.
Registration starts at 7:45 am, kids fun run at 8:30am, 10k at 9:00am, 5k and health walk at 9:30am
There will be an awards ceremony for both the 5k and 10k - top male and female finishers overall, and top 3 finishers in each age group for male and females (under 13, 14-19, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+).
There will also be a DJ, a health fair and family friendly activities (weather permitting) during and after the race, so bring the whole family!
CHC Meriden Race for Mental Health is part of the NEW "Meriden Moves" race series at Hubbard Park. Complete 3 of the 4 races in the series and be entered to win a Garmin Forerunner 410 watch!
