6K for Water is being coordinated by ComeUnity Now. Our purpose is to raise money for clean water in East Africa and support of communities there. 6K is the average distance a woman walks eeach day to obtain water, often unsanitary water. ComeUnity has helped drill several wells in Africa, whcih provide clean drinking water to communities in Africa. Every dollar we raise goes to putting more wells in Africa!
Course Information:
The 6K is held along the scenic Lakewalk in Duluth MN. Racing starts and ends in the Canal Park area of Duluth right on the shore of Lake Superior. Within walking distance of the starting line are hotels, craft breweries, restaurants, and entertainment venues.
