Swim: 400m Pool Swim
The swim will occur in the Bluffton Community pool. We will have swim course maps posted race morning in the transition area as well as registration and the pool deck. It will be a serpentine style swim, SIMPLY swimming down in one, back in one, down in 2, back in 2, down in 3, back in 3 going under the lane lines at the completion of each 2 laps. The water temp is typically around 70.
You will be seeded in front of your fellow athletes prior to the swim start. You should know your 100m or 400m swim time. This is your REAL time, not the time you hope or wish you can finish in. When this is done properly by the athletes the swim goes very smoothly. We will seed you prior to the start.
Bike Course map and description coming soon. It will be on flat country lightly travelled roads just outside the Bluffton community.
Run: 3.1 mi.
The run course map and description is coming soon as well, and this too is on flat roads taking you by the university and the cross country course before returning.
