The Food Fight 5K fun run is the next generation in 5K fun runs. Combining the health benefits of running with the pure joy of getting messy, the Food Fight 5K allows participants let loose, laugh, and open them to experience something out of the ordinary. Bring out your younger self, leave those old colored powder runs in the dust, and join in the messiest 5K in the US!

Less about your 10-minute-mile and more about having the time of your life, The Food Fight 5K is a five-kilometer, un-timed race in which thousands of participants are covered from head to toe in different 'foods' at each kilometer. Runners are sent in controlled waves through 5 stations.

'Spaghetti & Sauce'
'Mashed Potatoes'
'Human Car Wash'

Runners are then sent to a 'Human Car Wash'. This cleaning station cools, and revitalizes runners after their journey through the course! The fun continues after runners complete the race with an unforgettable Finish Festival. This larger than life party is equipped with music, dancing, and more food fun (this time to eat). Trust us, this is the best post-5k party on the planet!

Probably the best part of this food fight is it's not a waste of food! Quite the opposite. Food themed items are non-toxic and corn starched based. Proceeds go to Food Bank of the Rockies.

The Food Fight 5K has a goal to raise more than 7,000 cans of food for a local charity in each city that we visit. They want to keep the donations local, so that each city benefits from their local generosity. The projected goal for the Denver Food Fight 5K is to raise over 6,500 pounds of food for Food Bank of the Rockies.
