The second leg of the 2014 Fleet Feet Grand Prix Sprint Series, this Memorial Day race is a great way to cap off the holiday weekend. A 350 meter pool swim, a 10 mile rolling bike ride course, and a 4k neighborhood run make this race a favorite for both beginners and accomplished triathletes. Overall, age group, and relay awards, with race swag highlighted by technical race shirts to the first 250 registered participants. John Sevier Pool in Maryville is the spectator and family friendly venue, with volunteer support supplied by Blount County Boy Scouts. USAT sanctioned race.
Pool swim, time trial start. Rolling rural bike course (no major climbs). 4k neighborhood run--two water stops.
