Put some extra spring in your step with this scenic 5K trail on the stunning campus of Linton Hall School and the Benedictine Sisters of Virginia! The 1-Mile Run/Walk is a non-competitive event that is open to all ages.  5K runners and walkers of all ages and levels will enjoy the elements of this natural trail course as they trek beside lofty cedar groves,a lightly flowing creek, over gently sloping hills, through peaceful meadows and spacious grass fields.  The 5K course will also meander past several memorable gardens and historic structures dating back to the early 1900s.  For extra fun, please join us in the Carrot Patch for family-friendly activities for all ages!  So celebrate spring by wearing your Easter bonnets, bunny ears, whiskers and cottontails, and fully experience the glory of natures beauty on this golden egg of a trail!

Parking: Onsite parking will be available on a first come, first serve basis.  Additional parking will be available in the parking lot across the street.  For the safety of the athletes and spectators, please follow the direction of the parking attendants.

1 Mile Awards: Finisher awards for all 1-Mile racers.

5K Awards: Top 3 Overall M/F and Top 3 M/F awards for each age group. Age Groups are 10 and under, 12-15, 16-20, 21-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+

Packet Pick-Up & On-site Registration:

Packet Pick-Up and registration will be held on Friday, April 4th and Saturday, April 5th (Race Day).  We highly recommend runners pick-up their packet prior to race day to avoid long lines, and to have a smooth race day morning. 

Friday @ 9:00-11:00 AM & 3:00-6:00 PM, Linton Hall School, Linton Hall Road, Bristow, Virginia 20169.  

We highly encourage racers to pick up their race packets on Friday to avoid long lines on race morning! On race day, the 1-Mile race will start at 8:30 AM, and the 5K will start at 9:00 AM.

Saturday Morning Packet Pick-Up Info: There will be three lines separated by last name in alphabetical order to accelerate the packet pick-up process! Please ensure you are in the correct line. Same day registration is available for your family and friends.  There will be a separate table for Day-of-Race registrations.

Policies:

Strollers and pets will not be allowed on the course at anytime during the race.

All Entry Fees are non-refundable.  We will run rain or shine!
