The Vermont Gran Fondo is a non-competitive ride through Vermonts Green Mountains. This ride will test your fitness with its challenging climbs. There are amazing views at the top each gapsavor them for a moment before you speed downhill.
Three ride options:
Gran Fondo: 103 miles, 7,600 feet of climbing (all four gaps)
Medio Fondo: 75 miles, 6,100 feet of climbing (Lincoln & App gaps)
Piccolo Fondo: 46 miles, 3,000 feet of climbing (Brandon & Middlebury gaps)
Middlebury Snow Bowl is located 13 miles east of Middlebury on the scenic route VT-125. Located in the heart of the Green Mountains, the Snow Bowl is easily accessible from Middlebury, Burlington, Boston, and even New York City.
From the east: Take I-89 to exit 3 onto VT-107 west. After 13 miles, take VT-100 north, then take VT-125 at the junction in Hancock. The Snow Bowl will be on your left just after crossing Middlebury Gap.
From the west: Take U.S. route 7 to its junction with VT-125, about 4 miles south of Middlebury. Head east on VT-125 for 9 miles, and the Snow Bowl will be on your right just before the top of the Middlebury Gap.
