2014 Cottonwood Heights Sprint Triathlon:

This is the 2nd Annual Cottonwood Heights Tri the Heights Sprint Triathlon. In it's first year it received rave reviews from the participants for it's quality and location. Last year Brad Gilson stated "I think the Cottonwood Heights Triathlon was better organized, more efficient and safer than the big races like Ironman and ITU Worlds. Thanks to the great traffic control, the meticulous attention to details, the heaps of food (and for spectators too!!!), and the $300+ plus worth of SWAG!"

Course Information:

The Cottonwood Heights Tri the Heights Sprint Triathlon course is along the beautiful foothills of the Wasatch Mountain range.  It is a fun course yet challenging.  It starts with swimming 400 meters in our 50 meter outdoor pool, moves to the bike section that is a 10.9 mile loop  along the mountains and then and out and back 5k run.  All transitions and finish line take place at the Cottonwood Heights Recreation enter which is fun for the spectators.

Directions:

The Tri the Heights takes place at the Cottonwood Heights Recreation Center located at 7500 S. 2700 East in Cottonwood Heights right off I-215 in Salt Lake City.  There is ample parking for participants and spectators on the south side of the Center.
