2010 Cushion Peak Adventure Race:

Breakaway Sports is hosting a two person team adventure race that is held rain or shine.

Registration deadline: is April 1st or when field is full.

Race starts at 9 AM with a pre-race meeting at 8:15 AM.

Race is limited to the first 50 teams.

Divisions include: coed, male, female, masters (both members must be 40+) and code masters.

Each participant receives a race shirt, race hat, some extras and hot catered food at the finish. Plus hundreds of dollars in random prizes.

Awards: First place team in each division. 2nd & 3rd place teams in each division (based on number of teams - 5 and 10 teams per division respectfully).

Support: You will be totally self-sufficient. The course will take you through the transition area between each leg of the race. Visit our website at www.makebreak.com for additional information and registration!

Running - legs totalling 6 mi,

Biking - legs totalling 12 mi,

Special Challenges - to be announced on race day (nothing the average athlete cannot complete).

Directions:

South Mt. YMCA: From Reading, take Rte 422 W for approximately 4 miles to Sinking Spring Borough Hall. Turn left at light onto Fritztown Rd. Go approximately 4 1/2 miles to Fritztown (look for Fritztown Fire Co on left). Take the next right which is Galen Hall Rd. Follow 2 mi to Cushion Peak Rd and turn right. Follow to South Mt. YMCA on left.
