2010 Clear Lake Adventure Triathlon:

Absolutely pristine setting for an adventure race in the Hiawatha National Forest located in Michigan's Upper Peninsula.

The Clear Lake Facility built in the 1930's by the Civilian Conservation Corp is a National Historical sight and the only man-made facility on Clear Lake.

Course Information:

Mass kayak start that will follow the lakes contour for 3k.

Kayak's will be tethered upon completion of loop and then its a 500 meter run to the bike corral.

Mountain bike trail is on mostly hard-packed, old logging trails with a few hills thrown in.

Trail run starts out narrow as it winds around perimeter of lake (many areas offer view of beautiful Clear Lake) then widens as it picks up on old logging road for last K and down Clear Lakes main entrance for finish.

A weekend of outdoor education and recreation for the entire family. Youth and Adult Adventure races - kayak/ mntbk/ trail run -(kayaks available) camping, cabin rentals, meal tickets, a.m.yoga class, daycare, Native American story tellers, live music, etc. The setting - pristine Hiawatha Forest. The historical facility, built by the CCC in the 30's, over looks gorgeous Clear Lake.
