2010 Clear Lake Adventure Weekend Youth Triathlon:

Absolutely pristine setting for a race! In the midst of the Hiawatha National Forest, the Clear Lake facility is the only man-made presence on Clear Lake.

Mass kayak start (Kayak class mandatory for kids) that will follow along the shore to a buoy and back to start.

500 meter run up to bike corral and then on through the forest for an easy mountain bike course with volunteers directing kids the entire route.

Finish down hard-packed drive, down and back.

A weekend of outdoor education and recreation for the entire family. Youth and Adult Adventure races - kayak/ mntbk/ trail run -(kayaks available) camping, cabin rentals, meal tickets, a.m.yoga class, daycare, Native American story tellers, live music, etc. The setting - pristine Hiawatha Forest. The historical facility, built by the CCC in the 30's, over looks gorgeous Clear Lake.
