The JCC Youth Triathlon provides a fun and healthy opportunity to help children stay active this summer.
By combining swimming, biking and running in one sport, participants benefit from well-rounded fitness workouts, enhancing their endurance and strength, and having a lot of fun! The event is a fun way for children with wide ranges of experience, from novice to serious athlete, to participate individually or as part of a 2-3 person team.
You won't want to miss food, music, fun and an award for every participant!
The JCC Youth Triathlon is open to youth 4-17 years of age (NOTE: Per USA Triathlon Rules, the race age for an athlete is his/her age on Dec 31 of the year of the event).
Tri for Tots: 25 yard kiddie pool walk/swim, .75 mile bike, .25 mile run.
Ages 6-10 100 yard pool swim, 3 mile bike 1 mile run.
Ages 11-14: 200 meter pool swim 6 mile bike 2.0 mile run.
Elite 15-17: 300 meter pool swim 9.0 mile bike 3.0 mile run.
