8:00-10:00 AM Solo Adult 2 Hour Endurance Challenge: This is the solo adult 2 hour endurance challenge on a 2.6 mile circuit with a running obstacle course Le Mans start on the TRAIN OC course. You can register solo or as part of a two person team, but make sure to register under duo if you want to be part of a team.   Beer mug and first drink free with first 100 to register!

8:00-10:00 AM Duo Adult 2 Hour Endurance Challenge: This is the duo team-based adult 2 hour endurance challenge on a 2.6 mile circuit with a running obstacle course Le Mans start on the TRAIN OC course.  You will be allowed to transition only in the designated transition area. One team mate will do the obstacle course Le Mans start and that same team mate must do the 1st lap.  You can transition as many times after each lap in the transition/feed zone.  Beer mug and first drink free to each team member who is over age 21.  (only for the first 50 teams to register)

10:30 11:30 PM Solo Age 13-17 1 Hour Endurance Challenge: Similar to the adult 2 hour endurance challenge, but this will be on a 2 mile circuit course with a running obstacle course Le Mans start on the TRAIN OC Course.  You can register solo or as part of a two person team, but make sure to register under duo if you want to be part of a team.

10:30 11:30 PM Duo Age 13-17 1 Hour Endurance Challenge: Similar to the adult 2 hour endurance challenge, but this will be on a 2 mile circuit course with a running obstacle course Le Mans start on the TRAIN OC course.  You will be allowed to transition only in the designated transition area. One team mate will do the obstacle course Le Mans start and that same team mate must do the 1st lap.  You can transition as many times after each lap in the transition/feed zone. This is for the two person team entries and can include an adult parent but no one under age 13.

12:00 1:00 PM 4 mile Popsicle Family Fun Ride led by recently retired pro cyclist, Timmy Duggan from Boulder, CO.  This is a leisurely ride for all ages and will conclude with popsicles!

1:00 4:00 PM Bunny hop competition, pixie race, clunker chuck-it: No need to register. Bring your bike of choice (or limited bikes will be available on site) and have at it!  Dress in your best costume, tutu, or whatever suits your fancy.  We just ask that you purchase a carnival ticket to participate and then show up at the time of the event.

2:00- Strider Cup fun ride No need to register, just show up

2:15 3-4 year old fun ride No need to register, just show up

2:30 5-6 year old 15 minute bike challenge: Do you have a child who loves to ride his bike and wants to challenge him or herself?  Sign up for this 15 minute bike challenge where kids will try to complete as many laps as they can in 15 minutes.  The course is approximately 1/4 mile.  Included with this entry is full access to the carnival area, which includes the Popsicle Ride and play time on the Train OC obstacle course.

3:00 7-8 year old 20 minute bike challenge: Do you have a child who loves to ride his bike and wants to challenge him or herself?  Sign up for this 20 minute bike challenge where kids will try to complete as many laps as they can in 20 minutes.  The course is approximately 1/4 mile.  Included with this entry is full access to the carnival area, which includes the Popsicle Ride and play time on the Train OC obstacle course.

3:30 9-10 year old 25 minute bike challenge: Do you have a child who loves to ride his bike and wants to challenge him or herself?  Sign up for this 25 minute bike challenge where kids will try to complete as many laps as they can in 25 minutes.  The course is approximately 1/2 mile.  Included with this entry is full access to the carnival area, which includes the Popsicle Ride and play time on the Train OC obstacle course.

4:00 11-12 year old 30 minute bike challenge: Do you have a child who loves to ride his bike and wants to challenge him or herself?  Sign up for this 30 minute bike challenge where kids will try to complete as many laps as they can in 30 minutes.  The course is approximately 1/2 mile.  Included with this entry is full access to the carnival area, which includes the Popsicle Ride and play time on the Train OC obstacle course.

10:00 AM 5:00 PM TRAIN OC Challenge Course: TRAIN OC sprint course consists of 30+ obstacles that is sure to challenge even the fittest amongst us. This course is similar to what you would see at a Spartan Race or Tough Mudder minus the Mud and water.

The TRAIN OC course design is family friendly and welcomes all experience levels. With your general carnival admission, you will be able to try the course for fun. However, if you think you have what it takes to tackle this course with speed and agility, then sign up for the TRAIN OC Challenge! You will compete against the clock and other competitors for the winning time. The first 200 challenge participants will receive a TRAIN OC participation medal and age group winners will receive a TRAIN OC T-Shirt.

10:00 AM 5:00 PM Carnival is open, which includes TRAIN OC obstacle course, face painting, bike decorations, expo, beer garden, food and live music.  Come and stay for the whole day!

This Carnival will draw in people from around the region, eventually growing into three days of racing, riding and general bike-centric fun.  Located in beautiful Colorado Springs, the trail system boasts some of the best singletrack in all of Colorado.  With regional parks and trails that offer a variety of terrain, there is nothing quite like the scenery and diversity of mountain biking in Colorado Springs.

Course varies depending on which Challenge you register for.

Directions:

This park is located in the western portion of Colorado Springs in the foothills life zone.  It is one of the most frequently used county parks.  The park incorporates nearly 3 miles of Bear Creek and covers a total of 575 acres, 24 acres of which are developed for active recreation.
