Help raise money to restore our beautiful Chesapeake Bay! Join Chesapeake Bay supporters far and wide for the 3rd Annual 5K for the Bay at breathtaking Quiet Waters Park. Participants will enjoy an exceptional 3.1 mile run/walk along the South River in one of Marylands most beautiful parks. All registered racers will receive a tee shirt, water bottle and other goodies as well as great coffee and gourmet snacks post-race! This race is brought to you by The Chesapeake Roasting Company. And know you are supporting a great cause: 100 percent of net proceeds go to the Chesapeake Bay Trust, a 4-Star charity to support Chesapeake Bay restoration!
Quiet Waters Park is one of the most beautiful outdoor places in Maryland. This waterfront park of over 340 acres includes kayaking, trails, pavilions, playgrounds and so much more. The 3.1 mile course is along the Severn River waterfront and the woods on a paved trail. Children in strollers and leashed pets welcome. Race is open to both walkers and runners and will be officially chipped and timed.
