2014 Tallahassee REZ3 Triathlon Series "Tri the Rez":
This year, the Director of Tri the Rez is putting on a three race series. A sprint distance on Saturday, March 8th. Another sprint distance on Saturday, July 19th. And a sprint or olympic distance on Sunday, October 12th.
The race starts at 8:30am at the FSU Reservation (Rez), located at 3226 Flastacowo Road, Tallahassee, FL 32310. Parking is limited within the Reservation if you think you may want to leave early BE SURE TO PARK OUTSIDE OF THE RESERVATION! There is parking available in the church on the corner of Flastacowo, as well as the shoulder down Flastacowo.
PLEASE do not park on Lake Bradford as it will inhibit riders on the bike course.
The Rez, and transition area, will open beginning at 6:00am.
The swim course will close at 9:20am, bike course will close at 10:15am, the run course will close at 11:00am.
Race day photography will be provided by Endurance Imaging.
The Rez has a no pet policy that means NO PETS ALLOWED AT THE REZ. We hate to see disappointed people!
Participants who register two weeks prior to the race are guaranteed a race t-shirt in their selected size. Those who register after this window are not guaranteed t-shirt sizing!
Awards will be given for:
-Overall, Male and Female
-First Masters, Male and Female
-Five Year Age Groups, Top 3 Male and Female
-Top 3 Clydesdale/Athena, 15-39,and 40+
- Athena Division is for females 165 lbs and up
- Clydesdale Division is for males 220 lbs and up
-Top 3 Collegiate Athletes, Male and Female
Packet pickup will be at Capital City Runners the Friday before the race from 3pm to 7pm and from 5:30am-7:30am at the FSU Reservation on the morning of the race. Be sure to bring your USAT card and photo ID. If you do not have a USAT card, you MUST purchase a one day membership for $12.00 to race!!
Chip timing will be provided by RaceSmith. Results will be posted online immediately after awards ceremony.
