Course Info:
Swim

Beginning at the dock near the swim beach, athletes will swim a clockwise, rectangular course,  keeping all buoys on their right.  Water temps are expected to be in the high 60's or low 70's so wetsuits are recommended but not required!  Kiddie pools will be provided to rinse the sand from your feet on your way to T1.

Bike

Rolling hills at the base of the fabulous Flatirons! The views on this course can’t be beat!  Athletes will leave the park through the main entrance, then head south for a right on Jay Rd.  At about the 3 mile marker, you will vere right onto 28th St, then again onto N Foothills Hwy.  At about the 7 mile point you will come to the intersection where Sprint athletes vere right on their way back to Transition… Olympic athletes should continue north for about 3 miles to a right hand turn onto Nelson Rd.  After less than half a mile you will approach the 1st aid station, then continue a little over 5 miles before turning right onto N 75th St.  Travel south for approximately 1.5 miles before a jog west to 73rd, then another 1.5 before a right onto Niwot and a left onto 63rd.  Fuel up at the 2nd aid station… just in time to turn right onto the Diagonal Hwy, hit Jay Rd again for a short stretch & head back into the park the way you came & get set for T2.

NOTE:  You will be cycling on roads that are open to traffic.  Please stay right and stay on the shoulder.  If you would need to leave the boundaries of the shoulder to pass… DON’T PASS!

Run

This out & back course is flat, fast & beautiful as you run across the Boulder Reservoir dam.  There will be 5 opportunities to fuel up at or near each mile marker, preparing you for that slight downhill sprint to the finish!  Olympic athletes will need to complete 2 laps.

By allowing athletes the unique opportunity to benefit the cause of their choice, they are empowered to make a difference and motivated with a reason to race. All while bringing both funding and awareness to a diverse group of 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations.

100% of your fundraising goes directly to the nonprofit of your choice! Donations processed through your free, online, customizable, fundraising page will be charged a 3.5% fee by our credit card processing service. Your Cause Sports takes nothing from your donation! In fact we are trying to create a situation where it doesn’t matter if you process your donations through our organization or your organization directly. Your nonprofit still receives the same amount of money because they would have been charged a credit card processing fee as well! So why not get some cool fundraising prizes and use our events to provide motivation and structure for all your fundraising desires!
