Race is set at one of the most popular Texas State Parks, Inks Lake. The race venue is set right in the middle of the park with fantastic views of the Lake in all directions. The sprint race has been held for the last 15 years and is a favorite of many. The Extreme race was introduced in 2013 and lived up to the billing of Extreme. The run is on a mixture of pavement and trails. The Extreme Run is very challenging with some climbs. The race has been a fund raiser for the Old Community Center in Burnet. Redemption Racing has taken over the management of the event and has made a few changes including the run course.The race will continue to support the Old Community Center with a portion of the proceeds.
WE HAVE CAMPSITES We have reserved all (29) of the campsites in the middle race venue area. You can reserve a campsite for up to 8 people for 15.00 on the online registration form when you signup. first come/first serve.
Swim: Triangle Course 800/1500 meter open water swim in Inks Lake.
Bike: The Sprint 18 mile course is an out and back with challenging hills. The 36 mile Olympic Course consists of 2 loops of the Sprint Course.
Run: The 5k/10k runs are on trails of dirt and crushed granite and and consist of out and backs along with some loops. The 10k route is challenging with some climbs.

This event is a USA Triathlon sanctioned event and produced by Redemption Racing out of San Antonio. Our key focus is to provide an awesome race that is safe and fun. The post party will have plenty of food and drinks and spectators are welcome to enjoy as well.
The awards will be for Overall Male and Female, Overall Masters Male and Female and age groups of 5 years according to USAT rules.
