In addition to the 3 Hour Sport Race and 6 hour Elite Race, there will be a SUPER SPRINT! Super Sprint your way through a marked course with your friends and family. Teams of 2 or 3 will run, paddle, and bike with the expected winning time to be close to one hour.
A Super Sprint is exactly what it sounds like. There is no time to look at maps, orient compasses, or search for CPs. The course is marked with a few key points so your team can speed through as fast as you can.
This first Super Sprint event will involved a run, a paddle, and a bike section. Every participant must bring a Bike and Bike Helmet but no other gear is mandatory. Water will provided at the Start/Finish but not along the course.
This is not a relay race! Your team must stay together throughout. One canoe is provided per team.
