The Family Jewels 5K (formerly the Jaimeson Jones Memorial 5K) is an annual trail run (or walk) in honor and memory of Bothell XC runner (and WSU oarsman) Jaimeson Jones, who died on October 7, 2010 at age 20 of a recurrence of testicular cancer. Saint Edward State Park was his favorite place to run. Proceeds from this event help fund the Jaimeson Jones Memorial Scholarship, which assists students who have/have had a sibling with cancer.
