2010 Tag the World Charity Triathlon:
Course Information:
This will be a sprint distance triathlon to be held on Sunday 8/22 at 7:00am. It will consist of a 700m swim, a 16 mile road bike. ALL are welcome to race in this annual charity triathlon.
Swim: the swim course is a 700m course in the beautiful clear waters of the Waikiki Beach area of Queens beach of Honolulu. A map is available here. The course is a rectangle with one meter high buoys at the turns. At the end of the loop there is a short beach run before swimmers enter into the transition area in Kapolani Park.
Expected swim conditions: Warm, flat water. Any significant swell, surf or chop is unlikely.
NO BIKE FOR 2010
Bike: Triathletes yearning for wide open spaces will like this bike course. A map is available here. Waikiki's roads are new and wide. Plans call for 1 lane to be available to the race on most of the roads. Traffic will be closely restricted and monitored. Also, there will be and out and back course to Kahala on Kalakua ave., diamond head road, and kahala rd.
The roads are flat and wide with the exception of a gentle 2K climb up to Diamond Head Crater Park are the exceptions.
Run: The run course is pancake flat with stunning view of the honolulu harbor and waikiki coastline and will around the surrounding areas of Kapolani Park. A map is available here. It will be a distance of 5k and expected to be a beautiful run for the athlete.

2010 Tag the World Charity Triathlon:
- TAG is back and better then event in our 2nd annual Tag The World Celebrity Triathlon. We have increased the course to a modified Sprint distance race & early packet pick up with celebrity designer soft t-shirts.

RACE UPDATE: - We have updated the event to be a biathlon for 2010, due to events beyond our control. This will include a 700 meter swim and a 5k OR 10k run.
- We will be having a group bike ride immediately following the the biathlon for those still wishing to ride the 16 mile. course.
