2014 Race for the Arts 5K & Color Me 4K Run/Walk:
13th Annual Race for the Arts 5K, Color Me 4K Fun Run/ Walk...
This race is to raise awareness of the importance of an arts education and to raise funds for arts programs in schools.
Every 10 participants a school has earns a portion of the proceeds.
Come out, bring a lawn chair and umbrella and enjoy music, dance and art work of the students at the pavilion before and after the race.
This will be the second year for the Color Me 4k Fun Run and Walk.
This is a non competitive Fun event for families and friends.
Course Information:
The sanctioned race route is 5K in length along scenic South and North Dreher Park, Science Museum and Zoo area.
The 5K race will begin at the Pavilion at Dreher Park.
Accuchip will be the official time keepers for the 5K Runners only.
