This adventure race is designed for racers from 12 years to 99 years young who wants to experience the fun excitement of racing off-road in a compact format perfect for racer just getting into the sport or those with limited time to race. The race will feature a beginner category where racers will trek on foot to get checkpoints points following a map (with plotted points) Checkpoints will be located on the trails or at easily recognizable topographical features such as stream crossing or high points. Solo racers and teams of 2 or 3 will then mount their mountain bike to reach checkpoints throughout the park and then complete mental or physical challenges to complete the race. Physical challenges could include paddle boarding on Granite Spring Reservoir! Estimated time to complete the race is 3 hours for more experienced racers or up to 5 hours for those newer to adventure racing.

For those who are really looking for a challenge, the race will also feature an elite division where racers will need to find more checkpoints and cover more challenging off road terrain while experiencing the wonders of Curt Gowdy State Park and its International Mountain Biking Association (IMBA) designed mountain bike course. Estimated time to complete the elite course is 4 7 hours
