- The 2011 race was the first annual.
- It was held at the McMinnville Aquatic Center at Lower City Park.
- Pool swim, very fast flat bike route, and fast flat city street run.

The swim is a 500 yard indoor pool swim. 8 lanes, 25 yard pool, 4 swimmers per lane.
The bike ride is 13.1 miles through Lower City Park out onto quiet city streets and out into Yamhill County. Out and back, very flat and very fast. Traffic control at key intersections and good direction.
The run goes out and back on quite city streets.
Part of the bike and run are on the same route.
The bike and run transitions are at one location.
