2010 Tupelo Kids MS Triathlon:

This is going to be a great event for kids ages 6-17 benefiting the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. The epic sport of triathlon consists of 3 portions - a swim, a bike, and a run.

This particular triathlon will contain 2 distances for the multiple age groups.

Ages 6-9 will complete a 100 yd(four short laps) swim, a 3.1 mile bike, and a 0.6 mile run.

Age groups 10-13 & 14-17 will complete a 200 yd(eight short laps) swim, a 6.2 mile bike, and a 1.2 mile run.

If you are 18 or older, I NEED VOLUNTEERS!!

If you can't be there and want to help in some way give what ever amount of money you can to this cause, even if its only a dollar! This event is going to be an awesome way to support and raise awareness of the MS Society, biker/pedestrian safety, and the benefits of a healthy lifestyle in your community. The fee to participate in the race is $25 that covers one-day insurance through USATriathlon, a tee shirt, refreshments, post race meal, and funds for MS research and treatment.

Looking forward to this event on Saturday, April 17, 2010 at the Rob Leake City Pool.
