Description:

2010 Try the Kids Triathlon:

This is a great race for kids who want to experience a triathlon for their very first time. We encourage parents to participate alongside their child while they race.

Kids can wear floats in the pool, and training wheels on the bike are ok too!

Come experience this great event with your kids.

Course Info:

25 yard pool 3.5 feet deep

6 and under swim 25 yards.
7 to 10 years swim 50 yards (down and back).

Bike course

6 and under ride 1 mile out and back.
7-10 do the out and back twice.

The run is a half mile loop

1 time for the 6 and under.
2 loops for the 7 to 10 age group.

South of Decatur

- drive south on 730, 287, or Hwy 51. - - - West of Decatur

- drive east on 380. - - - East of Decatur

This is a USAT sanctioned event and you will be required to have a USAT membership.

The young athletes are not timed, emphasis is on having fun and a good experience.
