The event takes place at the Texas School for the Deaf campus, which is closed from traffic, thus presenting a safe environment for a triathlon, especially one that is geared toward kids.  

The swim takes place at TSD's indoor pool, followed by the bike on a 1.1 mile loop on the campus road, and finishing with a run on the track for the younger kids, or on a carefully marked course that makes its way through the school's picturesque campus with stellar views of the Austin cityscape.

100y swim, 2.2 mile bike, .5 mile run (Juniors, 7-10 year olds)
150y swim, 5.5 mile bike, 1 mile run (Seniors, 11-15 year olds)
150y swim, 5.5 mile bike, 2 mile run (Adults, ages 15+)

Age groups are 7-8, 9-10, 11-14, 15-19 year olds for kids, and in 10 year increments for adults, 20-29, 30-39, and so on.

The event proceeds benefit the TSD Physical Education Program K-12.

Juniors - Ages 7 to 10 years - 100y Swim/2.2 mile Bike/.5 mile Run

Seniors Ages 11 to 14 years - 150y Swim/5.5 mile Bike/1 mile Run
Adults 15 to 99 years - 200y Swim/5.5 mile Bike/2 mile Run

Swim:
The swim will take place in an indoor pool. The swim will follow a staggered start with each swimmer being separated by 10 seconds. Participants, please note your 100-meter swim time on your registration form. No swim aids or equipment permitted other than goggles & swim caps!

Bike:
The bike course will be a 1.1-mile loop (clockwise) on the interior enclosed campus road, free from any car traffic. Please keep to your right at all times on the bike course unless in the immediate act of passing and always pass on the left. To help ensure the safety of all participants, there will be volunteers on the bike course.The Juniors (ages 7-10) will do the bike loop 2 times, while the Seniors (ages 11-14) and Adults (ages 15+) will do 5 loops.

Run:
The Juniors will run a 1/2 mile on the track (2 laps). The Seniors will run 1 mile. The Adulst (15+) will run 2 miles. Both the Seniors and Adults will run on a course that with a combination of grass, sidewalk, going up one set of stairs, and finishing on the track. The run course will meander the beautiful TSD campus.

From Dallas/ Ft. Worth (North):

South I-35 (toward Austin)
Take Riverside exit and turn right onto Riverside Ave (west)
Left on South Congress Avenue (south-away from the Capitol)
Drive up the hill about 1/2 block
The main entrance will be on right

From San Antonio (South):

North IH-35 (toward Austin)
Take Riverside exit and turn left (west)
Left on South Congress Avenue (south-away from the Capitol)
Drive up the hill about 1/2 block
The main entrance will be on right

From Houston (East):

West I-10 (toward San Antonio)
Take TX 71 HWY (exit #695 toward La Grange/Austin)
Slight right onto Riverside Ave
Left on South Congress Avenue (south-away from the capitol)
Drive up the hill about 1/2 block
The main entrance will be on right

From El Paso (West):

East I-10 (toward San Antonio)
Take right on US-290 (exit #477 toward Fredricksburg)
290 East to Congress Ave Exit
Turn Left onto Congress Ave (north-toward capitol)
The main entrance will be on left
