2010 Norski Duathlon:

The 3rd Annual Norski Duathlon will be held in Downtown Deforest and the surrounding rural area.

This is an event for beginners and intermediates and very family friendly.

T-shirts for everyone, post race refreshments and water stops at the transition and on course for the run portions.

Course Information:

1st Run- Approx. 3.1 miles in downtown Deforest, paved road, one challenging hill climb in friendly neighborhood streets.

Bicycle Route-Approx. 18 miles, moderate elevation, scenic rural route, out and back course.

2nd Run-Approx. 2 miles in downtown Deforest, paved road, one challenging hill in friendly neighborhood streets.

Directions:

From Madison:

Hwy 51 North to Vinburn Road. Left on Vinburn to Southbound Dr. Take a right and follow the signs.

Other Info:

The event has grown during the two years and we are expecting continued growth this year.

The course is beginner friendly and yet has some challenges for the experienced athletes.

Food, fun and refreshments provided post race with awards ceremony immediately following the last runner.

Medals for overall men's and women winner and 1st thru 3rd place medals for age group.

Team plagues awarded to the overall team winner.

The event is chip timed and results made available on line.
