The Third Annual Center Recreation Beginner and Sprint Triathlon will be held Sunday May 23, 2010 at the Sand Dunes Swimming Pool in Hooper, Colorado.
Race Time 8 AM

Course Information:
Swim 500 Meters in a hot springs pool (usually aboout 95 degrees)
Bike 13 Miles (Out and back paved course)
Run 5 Kilometers (Dirt trail course)
Bike 13 Miles (Out and back paved course)
Run 5 Kilometers (Dirt trail course)
Directions:
Enter the San Luis Valley via US Highway 285, take Highway 17 North from Alamosa or South, just South of Villa Grove. Head west on County Road B just North of the town of Hooper. Take a left after 2 miles at the end of the road and proceed North 1 mile until you reach the pool.
Other Info:
The emphasis of this event is on completion. All finishers recieve a medal. No place prizes are awarded. Family members are invited to hang medals on participants as they cross the finish line.
