2013 In Unity, Strength 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run
The Fairfax Coalition of Police is excited to announce its inaugural 5k and 1 mile fun run race being held at Mason District Park, Annandale Virginia. This is a non profit race with all proceeds being donated to Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.) and National Law Enforcement Officer Memorial Fund (NLEOMF).
Fairfax Coalition of Police Local 5000 was established on July 25, 1990 by 10 Fairfax County Police Department Officers and represents sworn, civilian employees, and retirees of the Fairfax County Police Department. The Local5000 works to establish close ties between the officers and our community through a variety of charitable contributions, educational programs, and volunteer work. Membership is not required to participate in the race.
We are excited to host this event and look forward to seeing you on race day!
Course Information:
Mason District Park is hidden right in the heart of downtown Annandale. The course will be a more traditional cross country setting stretching over open fields and rugged wooded trails.
