We have kept the same great course as last year at Quarry Lakes Park. We are excited to celebrate the fun and satisfaction of your doing a run/jog/walk with us, whether it's your very first or your hundredth! And don't miss the post race party - rock out to the music, and enjoy all of the expo vendors!

A scenic 9k (thats a bit over 5.5 miles) run, jog or walk mostly on dirt and some paved trails
YOU! First timers to a race, seasoned runners, elite racers, joggers, walkers, skippers, and mothers with kids in towyes! Baby joggers are allowed; we even have a separate category for moms with baby joggers. Sorry guys, this one's just for the ladies! Wed love to see you guys out cheering on the ladies or volunteering. Come join the fun this way!
Transfer Registration! If you just cant make it on race day, for a limited time, you can transfer your registration to another pal in the SAME category. Theres an additional $10 transfer fee and a deadline of August 4th to do this. We hope you can make it, but if you just cant, send a friend!
Race Insurance! When you register, you have the option of purchasing Race insurance through Active.com for a $7 fee. If you become injured or ill, its up to you to contact the insurance company to see if youll get a refund for your race entry. Please read through the information on Active as you register to see if this option is right for you.
T9 Rag-A-Muffin Run starts at 8:15am. For more information, keep scrolling down.
Please help us get everyone parked and ready to run on time by carpooling and arrivingat least one hour before our start time of 9:00am. If you want your little one to participate in the free Rag-A-Muffin Run, you might want to get here earlier than that!
All adult registrants will receive a super sweet womans cut T9K T-shirt from Title Nine. We offer sizes XS through XL. Participants will also receive a bag of Goodies click here to read more about these samples in store for you! Girls under 18 will receive a Goodie bag and a custom T9K hat instead of a T-shirt.
Check out the Directions below to see how to get to Quarry Lakes Recreational Area. Once there, volunteers will help direct you to your spot.
Please dont wait until the last minute to arrive! It will be a busy morning getting everyone parked and lined up for the race. Plus, you want time to finish your coffee or tea, have a little snack, use the potty, warm-up, and enjoy seeing your friends at the race! For that reason, please allow at least ONE HOUR prior to the race start, especially if you still have to pick-up your race bib and goodies at the Expo area.
Parking Fee: We take care of that for you, but please car pool for the environment and to decrease congestion! Let the gate know youre here for the T9K race but participants only! We trust your cheering section to be honest about this and pay their own way in. Note: after 8:45am, everyone will need to pay the $5 fee.
The closest BART station stop is in Union City. Its 1.5 miles from the Quarry Lakes entrance. Load your bike on BART and then get a quick warm-up ride to the Title 9K start!
You have a couple of options here:
Early Packet Pick-Up: (Highly Recommended!) We strongly encourage you to sign-up for pre-race packet pick up at one of our 5 Bay Area stores the week prior to the race.Packet pick-up starts Wednesday, September 11 and goes through Saturday, September 14th during store hours. Picking up your packet prior to race day will allow you some extra time to enjoy the morning, eat your snacks, chill with a friend, or hang-out with your family pre-race. It is the race day hassle-free option.
Note: If you just cant make it to the store, dont fret! We will bring your packet to the park on race day. Just remember to get there extra early to get it!
Race Day Packet Pick-Up: You can stick with the tried and true of picking up your race number and goodie bag on race day from 7:00am to 8:30am.
Important: Sign-up by September 8 to get the option of in-store packet pick-up. If you sign-up after that date, you will only have the option to get the packet at the race site on September 15.
Here are directions to the Bay Area Title Nine stores when you choose to pick up your packet prior to Race Day:
There will be a total of 3 clearly marked aid stations spaced evenly along the course. Aid stations will be stocked with water, sports drink, first aid, cheering fans and some salty and sweet snacks! And, of course, there will be a yummy Chocolate Station near the end because whats a race without chocolate!
There will be porta-potties stationed near the start area, and there are several places with park potties along the course.
The top three fastest women across the line, the fastest mom with baby jogger, and the first girl under 18 will get awards, so stick around for the awards ceremony! Also, the best three Why I Run stories will also get awards.

From I-880 in Fremont, take the Decoto Road exit east and proceed to Paseo Padre Parkway. Turn right on Paseo Padre, then left on Isherwood Way. Proceed to the park entrance on the right. From Mission Blvd (Hwy. 238) in Fremont, turn south on Nursery Ave. (away from the hills) and right (west) on Niles Blvd. Turn left on Osprey Drive and left on Quarry Lakes Drive. Proceed to the park entrance on the left. Once you get there, our friendly parking lot volunteers will get you to a spot so you can scoot on to the race area!

Do you have some little ones in your family 8 years or younger who would love to get in on the action? Well, we have just the thing...our Title Nine Rag-A-Muffin Fun Run. It's only about 50 yards and it's FREE!
The first race will start at 8:15am sharp, so please get to the Packet Pick-Up Tent to sign up your junior runner by 8:00am at the very latest. Your little runner will get a stick-on Bib corresponding to the age/color categories below. This pint-sized event will be run in three "heats" again this year. Here is how the fun breaks down:
The race "course" is a near the T9K starting line. The little guys and gals run about 30-50 yards on the grass next to the expo.
There will be treats at the end of the races for ALL the little guys and gals. This is a great opportunity to get your kids exposed to the excitement and joy of running!
We will have a kids activity tent and other games to entertain your little ones. We do not provide child care so please make sure that all kids have a
