Description:

The oldest ongoing triathlon in the continental USA. 30th annual at the beautiful Callaway Gardens Resort in Pine Mountain, GA.

This very popular event takes place during the annual Hot Air Balloon Festival and Classic Car show held each Labor Day weekend at Callaway Gardens.

Course Info:

The swim is horsehoe shaped around pristine Robin lake.

The bike is two (2) loops throughout the Callaway Gardens resort.

The run is mostly flat with a few rollers thrown in for good measure. A VERY fast course.

Directions:

Fromk Atlanta take I-85 south to I-185. Take I-185 south to exit 42 (Hwy 27). Go left on Hwy 27 eleven (11) miles to Pine Mountain. Go one (1) mile past Pine Mountain on Hwy 27 to Callaway Gardens on your right.
