2013 Macho Man Tri at the Y Sprint Triathlon:
- This is a fast, flat sprint triathlon hosted by the Bayouland YMCA to promote health and fitness.
- This is the first triathlon held by the YMCA and will be a great race for beginners and a fun, fast race for experienced triathletes.
- Age group awards will be given to top 3 male and female finishers.
Course Information:
- The distances are 200 yd swim, 12 mile bike, and a 2 mile run.
- The swim will take place in the indoor pool at the YMCA in a time trial start.
- The 12 mile bike is out and back along a scenic bayou road and the 2 mile run will take place in a neighboring subdivision.
- Police will hold traffic along the bike course for athlete safety.
