Course Information:
The course is 6.5 miles and meanders through the beautiful Ridenour neighborhood behind Big Peach Kennesaw before entering the pristine trails of Kennesaw Mountain, frequented by deer and other local wildlife. There is approximately 1 mile pavement (.5 at the beginning and .5 at the end) that is used to enter and exit the trails of Kennesaw Mountain.
More specific details on the trail portion coming soon! The trails are cleared with some gently, rolling hills. There are a few roots and rocks to look out for on a short section of the trail; however, the trail is generally not technical in nature and accessible for beginning trail runners.
