2010 Sharon Sprint Triathlon:
  • Well marked course, easy to follow.
  • The best of Northwest Connecticut!  Small venue, rolling, scenic hills.
  • Second year.  

    • Course Information:

  • Loop half mile swim.
  • The bike takes you out of Mudge Pond Beach, north on Mudge Pond Rd. turning into Indian Mtn. Rd. at the Lakeville town line. Ride turns right on Rt.112 to Rt.41. South on Rt.41 back to Sharon, turning right at the town green on to West Main. Quick right on to Rt. 361, Millerton Rd. back to Mudge Pond Rd.
  • The ride is rolling hills with long down and uphills. No steep climbs.
  • The Run takes you right out of beach again, with an uphill climb the first half o f the run. A bit short of the halfway mark we turn right on Long Pond Rd., beginning the downhill run back to the beach.

  • Limited to 100 individuals with team entries in addition.
  • Two wave start, depending upon entries.
