The 2013 Runfest is the 28th running of Rockville's summer night road race and block party. This is one of the most popular races of the summer in the National Capital area. The event draws over 3,000 runners and consists of an 8K race (including a wheelchair division) and a 1K fun run, followed by music, refreshments and an overall rockin' good evening.
The proceeds from the Rockville Rotary Twilight Runfest benefit the Rockville Recreation Fund and the Rockville Rotary Club Community Grants Program.

For those of you who dont get registered via any of the other options, you may enter at the race site on Saturday night if we have not reached our registration limit. (If we do, we will announce it on this website. Otherwise, you may assume that registration is still open.) Race-site registration (otherwise known as really, really late registration) begins at 4:00 p.m. Saturday evening at the race site in Rockville. The entry fee at that time is (we warned you) $45. The earlier you get there, the easier it will be on you and on us.
Runners registering or picking up their packet on Saturday Night will have limited sizing available for their race day shirt.
The City of Rockville and the Montgomery County Roadrunners Club in conjunction with the Rotary Club of Rockville made a decision to cancel the Twilight Runfest on July 20 for the safety of the participants. We understand how disappointing this was to the 2,000 runners, the spectators and sponsors who registered and came to the race. Because of the proximity and intensity of the lightning in the area, we feel we made the responsible decision to postpone and ultimately cancel the race
