2010 Hawk Island Triathlon:
This beginner-friendly race is designed to welcome and support people of all ages, shapes, sizes, and abilities as they venture into the world of triathlon.
It's also a great warm-up race for seasoned athletes gearing up for the summer triathlon season.
To the extent possible, we will accommodate racers with special needs.
Course Information:
Swim 400 meters
Bike 16k
Run 5k
Counterclockwise from north beach to south beach.
Bike 16k
Single-circuit loop course on smooth, paved roads through beautiful South Lansing and Michigan State University Farms.
Run 5k
Scenic paved path on South Lansing's award-winning river trail.

Bring the whole family! Hawk Island Park features a sandy beach and swimming area, spray park, playground, volleyball, horseshoe pits, fishing docks, boardwalks, paddle and rowboat rental, picnic shelters, and a beach house.
