The 2013 inaugural Mountaineer Mud Run, is expected to draw a crowd to its muddier, crazier obstacle course as well as to the festival this year in Boone, North Carolina. The best part of The Mountaineer Mud Run is getting dirty. Join us on Saturday, September 14, at the High Country Fair Grounds in Boone, NC for an adventure you wont forget.
The Mud Run located in (The High Country) at the High Country Fairgrounds in Boone, NC allows for individuals to race as well as teams of four to race the 3+ mile course. Our racers will cross through mud pits, rivers, climbing obstacles, and more.
The Mountaineer Mud Run presents its very own festival with live music, food and fun. Because we expect many spectators, bystanders and athletic supporters, we have made the day fun for everyone; racers and festival-goers alike. It is truly a fantastic way to spend a Saturday this summer together with family and friends.
Awards will be given for individuals in different age brackets and to teams.
