REGISTER HEREFOR A 5K THAT WILL HAVE YOU RUNNING LIKE THERES NO TOMORROW!

Take part in the event that will prove to be the best race of your life if youre still alive to prove it.

Step foot in the mud and run this 5K as if it were your last. Basic Survival strategies will prove powerful. Enter as group, join with a partner or a team and you might stand a chance. September 14th, 2013, the forecast is a Sunny with a 100% chance of Zombie Manifestation. Use what speed and agility your mama gave you and whatever you do, dont let the Zombies take your flag Time is of no value, it is your life at stake.

The land is wet, the route is muddy, the obstacles are extreme complete this 5K with your belt full of flags and defeat the zombies. Slip and the lake will take you, take a wrong turn and the Zombies will trap you only the courageous will survive with a flag. If your flags are taken you might get the chance to regain a flag at the immunization station, if you have the willpower to face the gutsy challenge.

Legend Has It

There is an eerie legend that is believed to be true along the shores of Lake Erie. In 1907 an island existed at coordinates N4125.488 W08238.400 the same coordinates as the race starting line. Today this land known as East Sandusky Bay Metropark. It is believed to be uninhabited and over grown with vegetation. Almost a century ago the island was possessed by witches who turned 108 men, women and children into zombies by killing and possessing their bodies in order to force it into slave labor. At nightfall swarms of zombies would breakout into the water hunting for freedom. Infecting those on land once they reached shore. The zombie population began to grow to numbers unknown.

The government sent a squad who bombed the Metropark with chemical powders to suspend the blood stream and dissolve the undead creatures. The witches voodoo counter acted the solution making the zombies even stronger. 2 years later on September 14, 1909 a man made earthquake swallowed the island burying the zombies down to depths deep in Lake Erie. Today the lake is known to locals as witch waters. Annually on September 14^th The Purge the Metropark is closed as a day of mourning and sacrifice. It is said that anyone who steps foot on the land on that day will be captured by the Lake Eerie Zombies and forced to join their population. The population of the living deadregister here today.
