2010 Why Not Tri Wasilla Sprint Triathlon

This race was created with the intention to attract the beginner triathlete but it is still challenging enough for the experienced one.
Race participants will receive a T-shirt, medal, and a community picnic will follow.
Race proceeds will go to the ALS Foundation (Lou Gehrig's Disease).

Course Information:

Swim 400 Meters, Bike 8.5 Miles, Run 3.1 Miles:
This is a great course for beginners.
The bike route is somewhat hilly and follows mostly bike paths through and around Wasilla.
The run portion is mostly flat with a small hill towards the end.
The finish line will be on the Wasilla High School track.

Directions:

Coming from Palmer and Anchorage:
Take the Parks Highway.
Turn R on Crusey Street.
Go through the light at Bogard and keep going around Wasilla Pool for parking.

Coming from Fairbanks/Willow,
Take the Parks Highway,
Turn L on Crusey Street.
Go through the light at Bogard and keep going around Wasilla Pool for parking.
