Where is Busy Babes Marathon?
Our race is located on the Heart of Ohio Trail from the Centerburg Memorial Park towards Mount Vernon and back. The start and finish will be at the same location for everyone. The link above takes you to a Google map of the trail. Our start and finish will be at the Centerburg Memorial Park on the corner of States Routes 3 and 314. Enter the parking lot from State Route 314 and join us on the trail.
All three races will start at the same point, but the half-marathon runners will start one hour early, at 7:00 a.m. (5k and 10k participants start at 8:00 a.m.). All will head towards Mount Vernon.
5k participants will turn around at the 1.55 miles mark, head back towards Centerburg to finish after 3.1 total miles.
10k participants will also move east, towards Mount Vernon, will turn around at the 3.1 mile mark and finish back in Centerburg at 6.2 miles.
Half-Marathon participants will move toward Mount Vernon 6.05 miles, turn around and head back to Centerburg to the finish in at the Memorial Park at 13.1 miles.

Choose a race. Will you train for the 5k (3.1 miles), 10k (6.2 miles), or go for the Half-Marathon (13.1 miles)? Consider what your current level of fitness will allow and challenge yourself to train for the 12 weeks of our event training period. You can follow our calendar suggestions or modify to fit your own needs. Youll find many helpful training tools on this website.
Make a commitment to spend the next 12 weeks gaining physical wellness as you prepare for race day on Saturday, September 28, 2013. You can train on your own, but we encourage you to register your friends as well. The accountability helps and the relationships are lasting. You will notice that while your registration is $20.00, the next three people who register as you teammates are just $10.00!
