Join us for the First Onalaska Triathlon located in the town of Onalaska, Texas just 10 minutes from Lake Livingston. This event will take place at the KOA camp sight located approximately 10 minutes off 59 on Hwy. 109. In addition to the area hotels we will be offering camping Saturday evening for $5 a person, make a weekend of this great event. For camping reservations email Tina at [email protected]. There are 65 camping spots available.

This event will start at 7am. We will have a newbie swim wave for those wanting to go last.  We will be giving away three entries for the New York City Triathlon in 2014 as well; if you are entered in the Onalaska Triathlon you are eligiable.
Course Information:

Enjoy a great lake swim followed by a beautiful scenic ride through Lake Livingston and a nice run by the lake and through the neighborhoods in Onalaska.

SWIM - The swim is a 1.2 mile open water lake swim in Lake Livingston. We will have a rectangular course with a wave start, and a cut off time of 75 minutes.

BIKE - The bike is 56 miles through quiet rolling hills which cut through the Texas forest. Bike cut off time is 1pm. There will be rest stops at mile markers 10'ish, 21, 31, and 45; complete with water, food, and Hammer Products. The rest stops located at mile 31 & 45 will have rest rooms.

RUN - The run is 13.1 miles by Lake Livingston and through area neighborhoods in Onalaska. This course if fairly flat and you will do two loops and head back to the finish line. We will start the rest stops at mile 2 and they will continue every mile after and will be complete with water, food, Hammer Products, and rest rooms.
