Enjoy a great lake swim followed by a beautiful scenic ride through Lake Livingston and a nice run by the lake and through the neighborhoods in Onalaska.
SWIM - The swim is a 1.2 mile open water lake swim in Lake Livingston. We will have a rectangular course with a wave start, and a cut off time of 75 minutes.
BIKE - The bike is 56 miles through quiet rolling hills which cut through the Texas forest. Bike cut off time is 1pm. There will be rest stops at mile markers 10'ish, 21, 31, and 45; complete with water, food, and Hammer Products. The rest stops located at mile 31 & 45 will have rest rooms.
RUN - The run is 13.1 miles by Lake Livingston and through area neighborhoods in Onalaska. This course if fairly flat and you will do two loops and head back to the finish line. We will start the rest stops at mile 2 and they will continue every mile after and will be complete with water, food, Hammer Products, and rest rooms.
Timing:This is a chip timed event; all splits will be included with transitions. Chips are given out the morning of the event and turned in at the finish line. Occasionally a split is missed due to a misread or improper chip placement. We apologize now if this happens.
Awards:Overall top male and female, overall top master's male and female will receive medals. Top 3 in age groups and relay teams will receive medals. (Age groups are 14-under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-Plus. Clydesdale & Athena division will also receive a medal).
